This poor tree must have a very rough time surviving, with this vine all over it. Fall manages to let us see the tree through the vines, but I imagine it probably doesn't manage to get much light during spring.

Trees don't much care for mushrooms, either. This tree has a large shelf mushroom growing on it. I think the green comes from some other kind of fungus growing on the mushroom itself, but I'm not sure.

This stump has two of the shelf mushrooms on it, although you might not see the other one very clearly. It's towards the top of the stump, and has been cut away a little bit, exposing a wood-like interior.
